Experience interactive aimswebPlus training right from your computer. Our online training can get your school up and running quickly and efficiently. We recommend up to 15 participants per web-based training to allow for more participant engagement.

 

aimswebPlus Getting Started with Benchmarking

3-hour web-based training with 1-hour follow-up consultation for up to 15 participants

Price: $1500
Who: Teachers, Instructional Coaches, School Psychologists, School Leaders and any additional personnel who will be using aimswebPlus for benchmark purposes.
When: Prior to benchmark testing

In this web-based training participants will learn the essentials of using aimswebPlus for benchmarking and how to make informed decisions for groups and individual students. This training begins with how to navigate in the platform and how to begin benchmarking students. Participants will also learn the basics for accessing reports and utilizing benchmark screening data.

  1. Gain a clear understanding of what aimswebPlus benchmarking is and what it can do to support positive outcomes within your classroom
  2. Recognize and gain a basic understanding of the aimswebPlus assessment model and measures
  3. Fluently navigate within the aimswebPlus account at the class, group, and student levels with a focus on benchmark functions, data collection, and reports 

aimswebPlus Getting Started with Progress Monitoring

3-hour web-based training with 1-hour follow-up consultation for up to 15 participants
Price: $1500
Who: Teachers, Instructional Coaches, School Psychologists, School Leaders and any additional personnel who will be using aimswebPlus for progress monitoring.
When: Immediately following benchmark testing

In this web-based training you will learn the essentials of using aimswebPlus for progress monitoring. This webinar is an excellent follow up to our Getting Started with Benchmarking webinar. In this training participants will learn how to access key progress monitoring reports and begin using this data to make informed decisions for groups and individual students. 

Learning Objectives:

  1. Gain a clear understanding of what aimswebPlus progress monitoring is and what it can do to support positive outcomes within your classroom
  2. Fluently navigate within the aimswebPlus account at the class, group, and student levels with a focus on progress monitor schedule setup, goal setting, data collection, and access to reports
  3. Gain a basic understanding of progress monitoring report interpretation and data-based decision making

Transitioning to aimswebPlus from aimsweb 1.0 or 2.0

3-hour web-based training with 1-hour follow-up consultation for up to 15 participants
Price: $1500
Who: Teachers, Instructional Coaches, School Psychologists, School Leaders and any additional personnel who will be using aimswebPlus for progress monitoring.
When: Prior to benchmark testing

This web-based training is for current aimsweb1.0 or 2.0 users who are already experienced with the best practices of using aimsweb. It is assumed that participants have had previous training in the use of a formative evaluation system and that they have been utilizing the previous aimsweb version for at least a year. This training will cover differences and similarities of aimsweb and aimswebPlus software and reporting. Participants will gain a basic knowledge of how to navigate in the aimswebPlus platform and get started using aimswebPlus for benchmarking and progress monitoring.  

Learning Objectives:

  1. Learn to navigate benchmark functions in the software.
  2. Learn to navigate progress monitoring functions in the software.   
  3. Explore helpful materials and resources.

aimswebPlus Getting Started for Managers/Leaders

Two-hour web-based training for up to 15 participants

Price: $600
Who: District Administrators, School Principals, School Leaders, School Technology Leaders
When: Prior to benchmark testing

This web-based training will guide aimswebPlus account managers and school leaders with the implementation of aimsweb within your district and school systems.  Participants will learn how aimswebPlus can work for their school, what technology is needed to support the use of aimswebPlus, and account setup with either imports and manual entries. This training will also cover tips for a successful implementation, best practices for supporting teachers, and where to get support.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Gain a clear understanding of what aimswebPlus is and what it can do to support positive outcomes within your school system
  2. Learn aimswebPlus account management, account setup, and keys to successful implementation
  3. Observe the basics of test administration and report access 

aimswebPlus Web-based Consultation

Delivery: One-hour web-based training for up to 15 participants
Price: $300 per hour
Who: aimswebPlus users who have already completed an aimswebPlus training session
When: As needed

This web-based consultation is for current users of aimswebPlus who have already received training. A certified aimswebPlus trainer will cover topics specific to your school’s needs. Topics can include but are not limited to: benchmarking and progress monitoring, using your data to make informed decisions for individuals or groups of students. Other topics can include the steps needed for data collection as well as how to access benchmark and progress monitoring reports.

Shaywitz DyslexiaScreen on aimswebPlus Training

Delivery: One-hour, on-demand web-based training 
Price: $300
Who: Teachers, Instructional Coaches, School Psychologists, School Leaders and any additional personnel who will be using the Shaywitz DyslexiaScreen on aimswebPlus
When: Prior to dyslexia screening

Ethical and accurate use of clinical assessment content is critical for professionals of all education disciplines. Proper training in the science of assessment and interpretation of screening results in particular fosters appropriate decision-making and better educational outcomes for students. The Shaywitz DyslexiaScreen is a clinical screener to identify those at risk for dyslexia. Training will include the science behind screening, the purpose and goals of screening, and appropriate statements about results of a dyslexia screener. This course also includes a step-by-step guide through the use of the Shaywitz DyslexiaScreen within the aimswebPlus system. Participants will receive a certificate of completion following successful completion (80%) of a brief learning assessment at the end of the course.
