This onsite training is one of our most popular workshops. You will learn the essentials of using aimswebPlus for benchmark screening and progress monitoring.  You will access the keys to efficient navigation within your accounts.  Be ready to learn all of the steps needed for data collection as well as how to access your benchmark and progress monitoring reports.   This training will also show you how to begin utilizing your data to make informed decisions for groups and individual students.

This consecutive two-day onsite training is an expanded version of our Getting Started with Benchmarking and Progress Monitoring. This enhanced approach allows the trainer to slow down the learning to allow more hands on learning that helps ensure you are ready to move forward right after the training. You will learn the essentials of using aimswebPlus for benchmark screening and progress monitoring. You will access the keys to efficient navigation within your accounts. Be ready to learn all of the steps needed for data collection as well as how to access your benchmark and progress monitoring reports. You will spend time learning how to administer and score the measures that you will be using through the school year. You can get into the online assessments to explore what the students will experience. This training will also show you how to begin utilizing your data to make informed decisions for groups and individual students.

This is an excellent follow-up session to the aimswebPlus Getting Started with Benchmarking and Progress Monitoring workshop.  Put your data to work for you! Through hands-on experiences, learn key guidelines and tips for interpreting data and viewing reports at the student, classroom, school, district, and national levels.  See how to use data to facilitate improved educational outcomes for students. During this session, local benchmark and progress monitoring data can be reviewed, if available, within your organization.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Reflect on the purpose of benchmark screening and progress monitoring, as well as the key principles of data analysis and utilization within your school system
  2. Access key group benchmark reports and distinguish what reports can predict in regards to future outcomes and/or how each can drive timely, standards based instructional choices

This onsite workshop is designed for schools who will only use aimswebPlus for progress monitoring and goals setting.

Learn the essentials of using aimswebPlus progress monitoring for individual student data collection.  You will learn how to set appropriate progress monitoring goals, collect accurate baseline data, and describe interventions.  You will access the keys to efficient navigation within your accounts.  Be ready to learn all of the steps needed for data collection as well as how to access your progress monitoring reports.  Through hands-on experiences, learn key guidelines and tips for interpreting progress-monitoring data. Local progress monitoring data can be reviewed, if available, within your organization.

  1. Gain a clear understanding of what aimswebPlus progress monitoring is and what it can do to support positive outcomes within your classroom
  2. Fluently navigate within the aimswebPlus account to be able to set up monitoring schedules, set goals, and view data

Who: Teachers, Instructional Coaches, School Psychologists, School Leaders and any additional personnel who will be training school/district resources to use aimswebPlus
When: Prior to benchmark testing

This two consecutive two-day onsite training is designated for participants who will be training aimswebPlus users within their own district/organization. Participants will learn how to navigate the aimswebPlus platform, begin using it for benchmark testing, interpret reports and progress monitor students. This training will include best practices for using your training accounts and a recommended training schedule.

Included Supplemental Resources with package.

To stay updated, participants will have access to a Pearson’s Online Learning Academy Train-the-Trainer 12-month subscription. This includes training materials, monthly trainer webinars, recommended training plans, PDF handouts and other training resources. In addition, a training account will be provided for use within the district/organization.

  3. Explore the learning resources and training materials available to you related to management and benchmark screening

  5. Acquire a detailed understanding of the benchmark screening process through practice within an account

Day 2 Learning Objectives

  1. Access, view, and interpret the reports that are available from benchmark screening
  2. Learn best practices with survey level assessment and progress monitoring. Refine skills through practice within an account
  3. Explore supplemental learning resources and training materials available to you related to progress monitoring
  4. Learn how to use the training account during your own trainings

This one-day onsite training is designated for participants who will be training aimswebPlus users within their own district/organization. Participants will learn the necessary components to train their local aimswebPlus users.
