How often do CATs work?
CATs primarily work at-will and as their schedule allows, with a minimum expectation of providing four days of training per month (most of which requires overnight travel), along with participating in a few other related professional development activities from time to time. CATs are per-diem employees of Pearson, Inc., and work from their homes. As CAT consultative services are requested by customers, CATs are asked to conduct the trainings, based on their availability. Compensation is very competitive and additionally, Pearson covers travel and related expenses incurred when conducting our professional suite of AIMSweb training and consultative services.
Many CATs train four or more days per month for Pearson, Inc. while retaining their full-time employment status with their current employer while others conduct training as a primary source of income. Though we provide a tremendous amount of CAT Training and Consultation Services year-round, May through October is an especially busy time for AIMSweb Professional Development Services. Many CATs work four days per month November through May, and then generate additional income while training nationwide for Pearson, Inc. much more often during the peak summer season.
