AIMSweb Introduces New Instructional & Placement Recommendation Reports with References to Pearson Curriculum

AIMSweb has launched a series of new reports that link AIMSweb benchmark data for early literacy, reading, and math to Pearson Curriculum products. While AIMSweb will continue to be curriculum-independent, these reports are included with all AIMSweb subscriptions as an added value for those schools or districts that use Pearson Curriculum.

These reports will:

  • Provide instructional placement levels for Pearson Curriculum
  • Provide references to Pearson instructional resources for Tier II & III students
  • Make RTI data real and relevant for teachers

These reports can help you answer your critical post-assessment question — "Now what do I do?" —
in two important ways:

  1. Link student performance to the specific curriculum you're using, in a way that lets you combine core instruction and interventions into one seamless system
  2. Recommend specific resources so subsequent instruction can be differentiated and interventions can be personalized for individual students.

With this report, teachers receive a class wide overview of math performance. It ranks students by percentile, shows summary performance by NCTM strand, and highlights strands that represent a relative strength or weakness for particular students. This report does not provide recommendations for any specific curriculum, but enables teachers to directly link to an individual student instructional planning report for those students that are in need of further guidance. This single-measure report for classrooms or groups is available for M-CAP (grades 2–8).
