27.1.03 Release: National Norms Calculations & Reporting
Recently, AIMSweb released new National Norms that reflect the performance of the national student population at Grades K through 8. Rare reporting issues were identified upon launch of these new national norms that included abnormal score distributions, which may have generated an incorrect Instructional Recommendation for a few students. For example, it was possible for a low-scoring student to have an Instructional Recommendation higher than what their score would have normally provided. In all cases, the student’s score and visual placement within the report have always been correct.
This issue has now been resolved, and all reports now display the correct Instructional Recommendation for all students.
