Revised Math Computation (M-COMP)
Among the exciting new AIMSweb additions now available is a revised assessment of Math Computation (M-COMP). This revision of the current collection of math computation probes for grades 1-8 now becomes a single series replacing M-CBM (grades 1-6) and M-CMB2 (grades 7-8). M-COMP is consistent with the new AIMSweb M-CAP (Math Concepts and Applications) in terms of format, number of benchmark and progress monitoring probes per grade, scoring rules, reporting.
M-COMP offers a wealth of new features:
- Enhanced content to increase overall rigor and align more closely with NCTM standards
- Enhanced, student-friendly format
- Three benchmark probes and 30 progress monitoring probes, with fewer, but more targeted items than previous versions
- Updated and streamlined scoring rules and new reporting
- A new Administration, Scoring and Technical Manual
